Fashion is reloaded. That's not new! But the retro look is well tried and today we take the best trends from the past. It also brings us a piece of the fashion history back.
The 70's decade lost the conservative thinking and advocate the freedom and the piece in addition to the ongoing Vietnam war.
From the 70's we get the wide and high-waisted trousers, maxi dresses, prints like flowers, long collar, plaited patterns, wedges or heels with platform and open toe, and a reload of western look.


1.

FLORAL

The statement "PEACE", "FLOWER POWER" and "FREEDOM" was presented to the decade. Today, flowers represents the Hippie culture and freedom - The beauty of the nature! And people become more and more vegan and thinking of saving the nature and live natural & healthy. That's the reason why Flowers are so popular in fashion.  











2.

SWIMWEAR

The flower and floral print was seen to the Swimwear. The tropical print was popular, because flying was more affordable and the vacation in another countries was coming. The second Reason could be, because reggae music from Jamaica became famous.     







3.

CLASSIC

The other side of the people wore more clear lines, but the wide clothes were everywhere. The 70's was the time were women fight for the equality and it is shown, that the wide clothes didn't look female, they looked more masculine. Women wore more trousers and the design became new looks and until now women has worn and loved trousers.   










4.

FANCY

70's celebrate the free body culture, that's why the people wore permissive clothes. The crop top was born and the hot pants. Blouses were tied up and the belly was free.

GIRLISH

Some young women style were naive and innocent and they knew it to look sexy & playful for men. And that worked good!

WESTERN

Western style went more to the Hippies back. They wore Indian patterns, in thinking of the oppressed population, but more and more became the western clothes popular.
